Our Central New Jersey client, a global leader in specialty ingredient solutions for the food, health, nutrition, and industrial markets, is seeking a Data Analytics & Power BI Developer. This role focuses on transforming complex manufacturing data into actionable insights to support supply chain and financial processes. Onsite 2-3 days per week - MUST be local, MUST be eligible to work without sponsorship now and in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for manufacturing, inventory, supply chain, and finance.
- Streamline data access and reporting from JD Edwards (JDE) ERP using Preferred Strategies QuickLaunch.
- Perform ETL on JDE data for real-time insights into production, procurement, and costs.
- Develop data models, write DAX queries, and optimize dashboard performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and role-based access controls.
- Leverage Azure cloud tools and stay current with Power BI/JDE trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 5 years of Power BI experience (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service).
- Strong knowledge of JDE or similar ERP structures (manufacturing, inventory, procurement, finance).
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and BI integrations (ERP, MES, IoT).
- Experience with Azure BI tools (Synapse, Data Factory).
- Strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Power BI Certification (PL-300).
- Experience with JDE Orchestrator, BI Publisher, or other ERP tools.
- Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Industry 4.0.
- Power Automate for workflow optimization.
