We are seeking a DLP Deployment Project Specialist to lead a global Data Loss Prevention (DLP) deployment initiative. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical implementation and the project leadership aspects of enterprise security initiatives.
This role is approximately a 50/50 blend of hands-on engineering and functional project management, requiring someone who can implement Microsoft Purview DLP solutions while also driving timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful adoption across a global organization.
The organization already has DLP policies and governance in place, along with existing DLP implementations in certain business units. The goal is to standardize and expand these deployments globally while maintaining consistency across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of enterprise-wide Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives across a global environment.
- Implement and configure Microsoft Purview DLP policies, classifications, and protections.
- Work closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, Endpoint, and business stakeholders to drive project execution.
- Coordinate deployment activities, project timelines, and cross-functional communications.
- Configure, test, and optimize DLP and Endpoint Protection policies.
- Support data classification, discovery, labeling, and tagging initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Review existing DLP policies and recommend improvements to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Monitor DLP dashboards, alerts, and reporting while managing policy exceptions and escalation procedures.
- Assist with governance, documentation, and best practices surrounding enterprise data protection.
- Collaborate with architecture and security teams on overall solution design and implementation strategy.
Required Technical Skills
- Recent hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview DLP solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Experience deploying and configuring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Protection technologies such as: Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, Palo Alto, XSIAM or similar enterprise security platforms
- Strong understanding of:Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Protection, Data Classification, Data Discovery, Data Labeling and Tagging
- Experience configuring and managing: DLP policies, Monitoring and logging, Device management, Access controls, Encryption policies, Security reporting
- Experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms including: OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Zscaler
- Familiarity working within Information Security and Endpoint Security environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing technical security projects or large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and drive projects from planning through implementation.
- Experience monitoring DLP environments using dashboards, KPIs, reporting, and exception management.
- Understanding of enterprise security architecture and infrastructure design.
- Experience supporting global or multi-region implementations.
