Cost Accountant - Up to $90k bonus
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is hiring a Cost Accountant to join their team in a highly visible role supporting operations, supply chain, and finance leadership. This position offers strong exposure to manufacturing operations, inventory, costing, and financial analysis while partnering cross-functionally with multiple departments. SAP experience required! ***3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze standard product costing within SAP
- Analyze manufacturing variances, cost of sales, margins, and operational KPIs
- Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Assist with inventory accounting, physical inventory counts, and cycle count analysis
- Prepare reporting and financial analysis for leadership
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve costing accuracy and reporting processes
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, internal controls, and data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- SAP experience required
Additional Details
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
- Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 plus bonus
