Human Resources Generalist

firstPRO360 is seeking an HR Generalist for a permanent opportunity in Cumming, GA. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of HR and payroll processing experience.

Onsite- Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

• Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for approximately 80–100 employees
• Ensure accuracy of employee data, timekeeping, and payroll deductions
• Coordinate with accounting and external vendors as needed

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technician roles (approximately 8–10 hires annually)
• Post job openings, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and assist with hiring decisions
• Oversee onboarding process including new hire paperwork and orientation

HR Operations & Compliance

• Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Track and manage technician certifications, licenses, and compliance documentation
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and employee questions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies

Employee Support

• Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries
• Assist with employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies
• Support performance management processes and documentation

Administrative & HR Projects

• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
• Assist leadership with special HR initiatives and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
• Hands-on payroll processing experience required
• Experience recruiting for technical or field-based roles is a plus
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS/payroll systems preferred
