Director of Finance

We are partnering with a growing organization to identify a Director of Finance to join their leadership team. This position will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, operational analysis, and internal controls while acting as a strategic business partner to both operational and executive leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting, along with the ability to drive process improvements and provide actionable financial insights. The position offers a base salary of $145,000 plus a 20% bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the monthly financial reporting cycle and ensure accurate preparation of financial results in accordance with accounting standards
• Manage the close process and work alongside accounting personnel to improve reporting efficiency and overall workflow
• Review financial performance metrics, identify operational trends, and provide recommendations to leadership teams
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
• Deliver financial insights and reporting packages to senior management and business stakeholders
• Support the development and maintenance of internal controls, compliance procedures, and audit readiness
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operational departments to improve financial processes and drive business performance
• Supervise and mentor finance, accounting, and administrative team members
• Prepare ad hoc analysis, presentations, and financial models to support decision-making and organizational initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
• 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and operational finance
• Experience working within complex or multi-location environments preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP
