Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for our clients through compassionate and personal support. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with team members to provide essential daily living assistance and foster meaningful relationships with those you serve. Whether you work on-site in Somerset, Kentucky, you’ll have the opportunity to positively impact your clients’ lives every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing companionship and conversation to enhance the emotional well-being of clients.
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote dignity and comfort.
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
• Shopping, running errands, and providing transportation to appointments and activities.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Compassion and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients.
• Experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends.

Bonus If You:

• Have certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• Speak multiple languages and can communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Have prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full Time, Part Time, and Temporary, with shifts available every day of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only at FirstLight Home Care in Somerset, Kentucky.
