Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, responsible for driving growth and expanding FirstLight Home Care’s client base and referral networks. This role involves identifying and cultivating relationships with healthcare partners, community organizations, and local businesses to generate new leads and increase brand visibility. The Business Development Manager will conduct regular outreach, attend community events, deliver presentations, and maintain a consistent presence in the local market. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, tracking activities and results, collaborating with the operations and caregiving teams to ensure service alignment, and contributing to marketing initiatives. The individual in this role will also analyze market trends, provide feedback on service offerings, and support strategic planning to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within home care, healthcare, or related service industries.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to engage community partners, referral sources, and prospective clients.
- Proficient communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey the value of services clearly and professionally.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing a pipeline, documenting activities, and meeting performance goals.
