Our client is looking for Pipe Fitter to join their team at a major shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Compensation:
1st Class - $52.00 per hour DS $53.00 NS plus $180.00 in daily per diem
$1000 sign on bonus or Hotel Free (2 weeks)

Qualified Candidates:
- Should have a minimum of 4 years marine pipe fitting or industrial pipe fitting experience
- Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
- Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves
- Read and interpret trade drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Must be able to pass hair follicle drug testing
- Must be able to pass a 7 year background check.
First-Class Pipefitter, also referred to as a Journeyman Pipefitter, is responsible for fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel and stainless along with the appropriate valves and fittings, utilizing various tools and equipment in accordance with drawing, arrangements and blue prints.
