Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Electrical Test Electrician with Fiber Optic hook up experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working with 4160 Volts. Experience with motor controls, power panels, transformers and switchboards. Must have the ability to hook up electronic equipment such as communication radar and sonar systems.
Responsibilities
- 4 years of experience as a Marine Electrician in a shipyard environment.
- Fiber Optic hook up experience is required
- Must be able to hook up equipment with 4160 Volts.
- Must have experience hooking up motor controls, power panels, transformers, or switchboards?
- Must have experience hooking up electronic equipment such as communication, radar, or sonar systems?
- Must have system test experience (power or electronic)?
- Hours 40-56 hours per week.
- Long term contract minimum of 1 year.
Pay
- $40 - $41 hour 1st Class
- $147.04 per diem if you are 75 miles from the work location (with address documentation.
- $1000 sign on bonus or 2 weeks hotel
- Must be able to pass Hair Follicle Drug Test and 7-year background
- US Citizen or Perm Resident is required for this government facility.
