FirstDigital Telecom, a leading facilities-based communications carrier offering broadband connections for Voice, Data, Video and Cloud Services is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Lindon, UT
As a Project Coordinator you will oversee all aspects of customer orders including coordination of engineering and provisioning, vendor and customer scheduling, turn up, and associated tasks needed for new customer installation and upgrades.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee order implementation to ensure required deadlines and service level commitments are met.
2. Manage order entry process including initial review of order, coordination of needed facilities, and initiation of port requests.
3. Coordinate with provisioning and engineering teams to ensure order requirements are met and in place for customer installation.
4. Schedule personnel needed for order turn up including customer premise contact, internal system vendor, and FirstDigital outside technician.
5. Follow up with customers post-installation to close project and address any outstanding tasks or questions.
6. Maintain reporting mechanism to show progress of pending orders and timeframes associated with the process end to end.
7. Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the project’s requirements.
8. Attend sales, customer premise, and project planning meetings to discuss project details and desired results.
Requirements:
1. Telecommunications Experience preferred, but not required
2. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects at once while meeting all deadlines
3. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
4. Strong customer service skills
5. Strong documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, Access).
6. Ability to work on-call as needed
