Senior Recruiter - (Contract) Chicago, IL - Hybrid -
Great opportunity to work within our global Financial Services organization in an energetic and collaborative team environment to source, qualify, recruit, interview, screen, and refer top talent for open positions. Role located in our beautiful corporate office headquarters in Downtown Chicago, IL area working on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:
- Performs the recruitment process for assigned job requisitions, ensuring consistent process management that balances compliance, business needs and optimal candidate experience.
- Confers with the hiring managers to identify needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
- Sourcing candidates, utilizing various methods, internet sites, and databases.
- Uses talent acquisition strategies aimed at increasing diverse representation.
- Maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Qualifies applicants against job requirements. Reviews applications to evaluate the candidates’ work history, education, and training, job skills, compensation needs, as well as any other qualifications.
- Initiates contact with potential qualified candidates for specific job openings. Screens and interviews applicants to obtain work history, job skills, previous education and training and salary requirements.
- Refers qualified candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization.
- Manages accurate candidate documentation in applicant tracking systems. Maintains records of applicants not selected for employment.
- Partners with recruiting peers for continuous improvement initiatives. Provides ongoing communication regarding feedback, concerns, and recommendations to enhance the company’s ability to attract talent. Assists in researching and evaluating selection and placement techniques.
- Remains current with the latest recruiting trends and sourcing techniques. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in recruiting within the financial industry, tech space or related highly preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement, seeking new sourcing and recruiting options and creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates. Experienced with online recruiting and selection.
- Strong communication skills. Excellent customer service skills, with a sense of professionalism.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while overseeing the entire recruiting full life cycle.
- Strong project- and time- management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines and deliverables.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to understand the business implications of decisions from both the company and the applicant/employee perspective. Ability to deliver excellent applicant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Proficient with Workday Applicant Tracking Systems highly preferred.
Salary : $55 - $60
