Manufacturing Technician / Senior Electronics AssemblerJob Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician / Senior Electronics Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble electronic and electro-mechanical products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. The ideal candidate has experience with soldering, wiring harnesses, cable fabrication, and electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and package electronic and electro-mechanical components
- Perform soldering, crimping, wiring, labeling, and cable fabrication
- Build wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical panels
- Read and interpret wiring schematics, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments on completed assemblies
- Complete production documentation and work orders accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, and other assembly equipment
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve manufacturing goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of electronics or manufacturing assembly experience
- Experience with soldering, wire harness assembly, and cable fabrication
- Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- IPC certification (J-STD-001) is a plus or the ability to obtain certification
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Experience
- Electro-mechanical assembly
- Chassis wiring
- Connector soldering
- Military and commercial quality specifications
- Electronic testing and troubleshooting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
- Excellent manual dexterity for handling small electronic components and precision tools
Temp to hire position
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work
