Quality Control Specialist

First Priority Group is a diversified manufacturer, dealer, upfitter and service provider of emergency and specialty vehicles seeking a Quality Control Specialist to support our customers at our 75,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art production facility in Lakewood, New Jersey, offering the opportunity to be part of an exciting period of growth and expansion for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality control inspections on ambulance remounts and new ambulance builds throughout the production process.
• Perform final inspections prior to delivery to ensure vehicles meet customer specifications, industry standards and company quality benchmarks.
• Verify compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and safety requirements (including OEM and KKK-related items where applicable).
• Record, organize, store and distribute all quality control documentation for each job, including inspection checklists, reports, photos, and approvals.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical QC records for service calls, remounts, and new builds.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues and recommending process enhancements.
• Complete incoming vehicle inspections, documenting existing conditions, damage and key components prior to production.
• Photograph incoming and outgoing vehicles, maintaining organized visual records for internal tracking and customer documentation.
• Collaborate with production, service, and management teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
