POSITION SUMMARY

Bank Customer Service Representatives / Tellers are responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

●        Accept deposits, loan payments, process checking and savings account withdrawals

●        Cash checks

●        Maintain adequate cash drawer limits at all times, when needed

●        Balance cash drawer in accordance with Bank procedures and regulations including the processing of cashed checks.

●        Answer customer inquiries and refer customers to the proper service area when necessary

●        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained

●        Promotes the bank’s products and services

●        Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers and coworkers

●        Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflow.

●        Contribute to the fulfillment of branch and bank wide objectives and goals

●        Comply with all department and company policies, procedures, and regulations

●        May represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank’s image and develop additional business

●        May be responsible for bank opening and/or closing

●        Interview customers to explain and obtain information needed to open new accounts and bank products.

●        Explain and cross sell all available bank products and tract products sold and offered

●        Complete documents and correspondence to customers as needed. Make customer contacts by phone and mail as to on-boarding procedures

●        Other duties as assigned
