Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality patient care across diverse settings, including primary care, specialty clinics, and community outreach. Your expertise will support our mission to improve health outcomes while fostering a welcoming environment for all patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation.
- Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform suturing with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system, eClinical Works, to document patient interactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as urgent care or same-day care, prenatal care, pediatrics, men's health, & , family planning, and physical exams.
- Conduct triage assessments in urgent care or emergency settings to prioritize patient needs effectively.
Skills
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or memory care needs.
- Proficiency in advanced nursing procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, immunizations, and laboratory specimen collection.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems; experience with eClinical Works is a plus.
- Ability to perform in high-pressure situations involving acute pain management, infection control protocols, and wound care management.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education on topics like medication administration, diabetes education, and health coaching.
