Role Description The Producing Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Charlotte, FL. This role combines branch leadership with personal production, overseeing daily branch operations while originating residential mortgage loans. The Producing Branch Manager will lead and mentor loan officers and support staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include managing pipeline and sales activities, driving branch growth, fostering strong relationships with real estate partners and referral sources, and ensuring an excellent borrower experience from application to closing. The role also involves monitoring market trends, implementing local business development initiatives, and collaborating with company leadership on strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in residential mortgage lending, including originating and closing a variety of loan products.
- Background in branch or sales team management, with skills in leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, compliance standards, and underwriting guidelines.
- Strong relationship-building abilities with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners.
- Proficiency in mortgage LOS platforms, CRM tools, and standard office software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
