Job Description

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a customer-focused and engaging Head Teller to join our Pearlridge branch. As the Head Teller, you will be the face of our bank, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellent service and promoting our range of financial products and services. You will also assist in the supervision and development of our Branch Tellers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Compensation

The pay range is $19.00 - $22.50/hour, commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM (hours may vary); Saturday 9:00AM - 1:00PM (on a rotation basis)

Responsibilities

You will also assist in the supervision and development of our Branch Tellers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience as an FHB Senior Teller; or
• 2 years’ experience as an FHB Teller and cross-trained to perform supervisor duties; or
• 1 year experience as a Teller (or equivalent) in another financial institution with two years’ supervisory and cashiering experience required.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g., retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking) preferred.
• Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers.
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
• Possess sales skills to enhance business development opportunities.
