Financial Services Representative

We are seeking a Financial Services Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in medical billing, insurance, and customer service, ideally with a passion for women’s health and fertility care.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-certification and surgical scheduling for the assigned team physician.
• Communicate financial clearance between nursing staff and physicians via Athena and Resource systems.
• Enter charges for IVF cycles, monitor patient accounts, and follow up on balances.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding insurance, billing, and financial responsibilities.
• Process refunds, adjustments, and collection activities as needed.
• Prepare daily reports and handle bank deposits.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of healthcare insurance and customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in CPT and ICD-9 coding.
• Experience with medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
