Patient Services Representative – Great Fit for Healthcare, Hospitality & Hotel Front Desk Professionals
Fertility Specialists of Texas (FST)
If you’ve built your career creating warm welcomes, mastering guest check‑ins, and delivering seamless service at a hotel front desk, your skills are a perfect match for this role. At Fertility Specialists of Texas, you’ll use that same talent for hospitality to support patients during some of the most important moments in their lives. From managing schedules and phones to guiding patients with clarity and care, you’ll bring the heart of hospitality into a setting where your impact is truly meaningful.
Fertility Specialists of Texas (FST) is a leading fertility clinic known for advanced treatments and compassionate, patient-centered care. We provide fertility consultations, egg, sperm, and embryo freezing, IUI, IVF, and more — ensuring patients feel supported at every step.
We are seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Plano location. This service-oriented role is ideal for someone who loves variety, enjoys helping different teams, and can easily adapt to new workflows — similar to supporting multiple hotel departments during high-demand periods.
Responsibilities:
• Warmly greet and check in patients, collect service payments, manage incoming calls, and reconcile daily transactions.
• Prioritize and route calls quickly, ensuring patients reach the appropriate departments.
• Offer clear, friendly information about clinic policies and assist patients with completing required forms.
• Verify and document patients’ insurance benefits and coverage, entering details accurately into charts.
• Log phone and patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) while upholding the highest confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to communicate schedule changes and coordinate patient flow.
• Follow established guidelines for handling phone inquiries and escalate emergencies appropriately.
• Assist with filing, scanning, and faxing to support administrative operations.
• Strictly uphold HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred (English and Spanish).
• Experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, concierge, customer service, or medical reception is highly valued.
• Comfortable adapting to different teams, workflows, and clinic settings.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or insurance processes is helpful but not required—training is provided.
