Department: In Home Care
Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm and evening/weekend on call rotation
Reports to: In Home Care Manager
Salary: Starting at $24.00 an hour

First Call In Home Care is looking for an In Home Care Scheduler to join in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families by helping coordinate their care! This is a company that cares about its employees and has created a family like environment in which to work.
Responsibilities:
- Manages caregivers and places them on personal care assignments.
- Consults with clients to provide appropriate staffing solutions.
- Recruits, interviews, and orients reliable and compassionate caregivers.
- Manages required paperwork and records and prepares documentation when needed.
- Identifies and resolves client and employee issues.
- Cheerfully and professionally answers inbound phone calls.
- Participates in night and weekend on-call rotation.
On-Call Compensation & Schedule:
_ Additional $600 per week for on-call phone coverage_
_ Weekend on-call hours: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m._
_ Weekday on-call hours: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., emergencies only_
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience scheduling for in home care/caregiving.
- Compassion for the elderly
- An analytical mind for scheduling
- Take-charge personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Excellent telephone skills
- Highly professional and dependable
- Strong computer and Internet skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred Bilingual in Spanish or Russian
