Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to provide high-quality care in an inpatient pediatric environment. This role involves managing the health of neonates, infants, children, and adolescents, with a strong focus on evidence-based practice and collaborative care.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically skilled, and comfortable working a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care for pediatric populations (birth through young adulthood)
- Perform patient assessments, including histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and imaging
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and policies
Work Schedule & Structure
- Full-time position
- Rotating day and night shifts
- Typical schedule:
- Alternating weekly shifts (e.g., three 12-hour shifts one week; three 12-hour shifts plus one 8-hour shift the next week)
- Inpatient clinical setting

Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Eligibility to obtain prescriptive authority within required timeframe
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to manage complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
