About the Role
We are looking a Hydraulic Project Manager to lead hydrology and hydraulic design for transportation projects in our Raleigh, NC office. You’ll manage project scopes, conduct stormwater and drainage analysis, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee hydrology and hydraulic design for roadway drainage, stormwater systems, and erosion control.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for transportation projects.
- Design stormwater management systems, bridge and culvert hydraulics, and outfall analysis.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client coordination.
- Utilize MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, Open Roads Designer, and SUDA.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct fieldwork verification.
What You Bring
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 10 years of hydraulic design experience, preferably on NCDOT projects.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines, FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual, and erosion control.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
