Responsibilities:
- Design custom residential homes from concept through construction drawings
- Modify and adapt existing home plans to meet client requirements
- Develop design solutions balancing aesthetics, functionality, and buildability
- Collaborate with clients to understand lifestyle needs, design preferences, and budget constraints
- Present architectural concepts and guide clients through design decisions
- Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design and structural integrity
- Work closely with construction and project teams to ensure designs are practical and executable
- Review plans during pre-construction to identify and resolve potential issues
- Provide architectural support throughout the construction phase
- Produce complete architectural drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Coordinate with engineers and external consultants as required
- Contribute to architectural standards, design guidelines, and plan libraries
- Support development of new model home designs
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in residential architectural design
- Experience working on custom or luxury residential projects
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work full-time in an office environment
Must-Have Skills:
