Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in Tulsa, OK. Applicant will handle a broad range of litigation matters, primarily in insurance defense.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda, preparing and responding to discovery, and assisting with depositions, hearings, and trials.
- The role also involves regular collaboration with colleagues, maintaining organized case files, meeting deadlines, and communicating clearly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with ability to analyze statutes, case law, and regulations relevant to insurance defense and corporate matters.
- Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to clients, including risk assessment and strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in research, including legal research tools, drafting memoranda, and supporting litigation and transactional work.
- Effective Negotiation skills for settlement discussions, mediations, and resolving disputes in pre-litigation and litigation contexts.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail in drafting and case presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced firm environment.
- Prior experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or corporate law is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.
