Position Summary:
The Air Export Coordinator is responsible for the end‑to‑end coordination and execution of air export shipments, serving as the operational owner from booking through final departure. Due to branch size, this role also performs hands-on operational execution typically associated with an Air Export Operator, including documentation processing and transaction-level shipment activities. This role requires independent judgment, prioritization, and problem solving to ensure shipments are executed accurately, compliantly, and on time while delivering a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of air export experience in a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong working knowledge of air export documentation, compliance, and airline booking processes.
• Dangerous Goods certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience with CargoWise or similar Transportation Management Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
