Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations including bussing tables and sanitation duties
- Manage food handling responsibilities adhering to safety protocols and proper hygiene practices
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Support team members in various roles to ensure smooth restaurant operations during peak hours
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required
- Strong skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting with multitasking skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and kitchen calculations
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on serving customers professionally
- Experience with culinary tasks or restaurant operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
