Fire Protection Specialists Inc. is a leading Fire Sprinkler Systems Contracting Company with a 40 year track record of successful project performance. We are interviewing experienced fire sprinkler system designers to help bring our customers the highest standard of project performance along with the rest of our team.
Responsibilities include design of projects per customer needs as specified in project documents, while meeting AHJ requirements and company standards. This role requires on-site surveys, schematic layout of piping and sprinklers, preparation of shop drawings using Autocad based industry software, hydraulic calculations, submittals, field coordination, material listing, and coordination with field personnel.
The ideal candidate for Designer would have at least 2 years of current experience in fire sprinkler design, hydraulic calculation, and Autocad drafting, with strong knowledge and understanding of fire codes and local agency ordinances, system design and installation methods, and strong computer and communication skills.
Additional positions may become available for entry level Design Trainee at a later date.
