We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing team supporting commercial electrical construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on bids, cost analysis, and project planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specifications to determine project scope
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and complete takeoffs
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Identify materials, labor, and equipment requirements
- Develop bid packages including inclusions/exclusions
- Support project handoff to project management after award
- Maintain accurate documentation for all estimates
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in commercial electrical estimating
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with takeoffs, bidding, and cost estimation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with electrical estimating software (e.g., EBM or similar)
