About the Role

Our company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Systems Analyst, Principal) to lead the Supply Chain data workstream for the company's enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation program, Propel.

This role will serve as the primary data leader responsible for Supply Chain master data governance, data quality, conversion strategy, reporting requirements, data cleansing, and migration activities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Supply Chain processes, master data management, and large-scale ERP transformation programs while partnering with business and technology stakeholders across the organization.

The position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in one of the largest business and technology modernization initiatives within the utility industry.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance & Master Data Management

• Lead Supply Chain master data governance activities for the Propel transformation program.
• Establish and enforce enterprise-wide data standards, naming conventions, metadata rules, and validation controls.
• Develop and maintain governance processes for Material Master, Vendor Master, Source Lists, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related Supply Chain data domains.
• Conduct data quality assessments, profiling, cleansing, and remediation activities.

Data Migration & SAP Transformation

• Drive data conversion strategy and execution for SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Oversee data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading activities.
• Provide sign-off on data conversion plans, retention strategies, governance models, and archiving approaches.
• Identify and resolve data issues impacting integration and conversion efforts.

Supply Chain Systems & Process Integration

• Serve as the Supply Chain data subject matter expert for SAP MM, EWM, Ariba, Fieldglass, and Icertis solutions.
• Validate data relationships across procurement, inventory, warehouse management, and logistics processes.
• Partner with business and technical teams to support future-state Source-to-Pay (STP) process design.

Reporting, Analytics & Innovation

• Define Supply Chain reporting and analytics data requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop reporting, dashboards, and analytical capabilities.
• Support initiatives leveraging AI, data analytics, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate business insights.

Stakeholder Leadership

• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Operations, and external partners.
• Translate technical data requirements into business solutions.
• Present complex findings and recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in data governance and analytics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10 years of experience in Supply Chain systems, master data management, ERP implementations, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading data governance, data quality, data migration, and master data initiatives.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise-wide ERP transformation programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Analytics & Innovation

• Experience integrating Supply Chain data with SAP IBP, Ariba, and analytics platforms.
• Experience applying AI/LLM technologies to data analytics and business intelligence use cases.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
• Experience in utility, energy, manufacturing, or large enterprise environments.
• Strong change management and organizational transformation experience.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments.

Compensation

• Bay Area Salary Range: $120,000 – $170,000
• Eligible for PG&E incentive compensation programs.
• Compensation will be based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and market factors.
