We are looking for Senior to Expert-level analysts who can operate at a portfolio decision-support level, not just reporting or dashboard development. This role requires candidates who understand how capital investment portfolios are structured, evaluated, and optimized under financial constraints.
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 5 months
ONLY SUBMIT CANDIDATES LOCAL AND CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE BAY AREA/NEAR WORK LOCATION-OAKLAND GO. ASSIGNMENT IS HYBRID AND REQUIRED ON-SITE AT OAKLAND GO 2 DAYS PER WEEK.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, capital planning, portfolio analysis, investment decision support, or related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience analyzing large, complex datasets and developing insights using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar
- Strong understanding of:Financial structures (cost, risk, benefits)
- Portfolio tradeoffs and investment prioritization
- Capital programs and lifecycle cost analysis
- Experience in utility, energy, or regulated infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with portfolio optimization and scenario modeling tools (e.g., Copperleaf)

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI
- Exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP, Foundry, or similar platforms
