Summar
yOur client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their growing to team. Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, integration and deployment of LAN/WAN technologies, including but not limited to: network analysis, network design, network security, wireless communications, SDWAN, VPN, AVPN, automated system monitoring, and 24-hour coverage (best effort)

- nsCollege diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or information technology. Can be substituted for 4 years related work experienc
- e.3 years’ experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN design and implementatio
- n.Experience with Cisco and Fortinet switches, firewalls and wireles
- s.Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practice
- s.Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards. (Routing: BGP, Static, Dynamic, Policy based. VPN, AVPN, SEOD, SDWAN, EP-LA
- N)Excellent hardware troubleshooting experienc
- e.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and law
- s.Experience in WLAN packet analysis, signal optimization, Power over Ethernet, and general wireless connectivit
- y.Solid understanding of wireless vulnerabilities, WLAN-specific security threats, and software weaknesses, as well as mitigation strategie
