We are seeking a professional Controller to join a growing team in Pendleton, SC. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of prior experience in a controller position, previous supervisory expereince, and excellent MS Excel skills.
Job Description:
- Direct accounting, payroll, procurement, grants, and capital project financial functions
- Lead annual budget development, forecasting, and financial analysis; monitor performance and advise on resource allocation
- Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and governing bodies
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable federal and state regulations; oversee financial statements and required reports
- Maintain strong internal controls, coordinate audits, and manage financial risk
- Serve as the primary liaison with auditors, regulators, and external partners
- Supervise and develop finance staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee financial systems and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and decision‑making
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of experience in a controller level accounting position
- 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- CPA (Preferred but not required)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience and working knowledge of ERP systems
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday (8am -5pm)
- Friday (8am to 2pm)
- 100% ONSITE
Compensation & Benefits:
- $90,000 - $110,000
