Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in managing complex business and civil litigation matters. Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all stages of commercial litigation, from case inception through trial.
- Draft, file, and serve pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical case files.
- Coordinate discovery, including document review, production, and evidence management.
- Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Assist with trial, hearing, deposition, and mediation preparation while tracking court deadlines and filing requirements.
Qualifications
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in commercial litigation.
- Strong knowledge of court procedures, litigation processes, and legal terminology.
- Excellent research, writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing discovery and complex case files.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience; paralegal certification preferred.
