A well known client of ours is looking to hire a Plaintiff Attorney to serve as a strong local presence, provide mentorship, and help grown the office's practice in Myrtle Beach. The Attorney will manage a caseload of South Carolina workers’ compensation and personal injury matters, represent injured workers and personal injury cases throughout the claims process, and provide leadership and guidance to associate attorneys in the office. The role offers substantial earning potential through a commission-based compensation structure after the first year. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of South Carolina workers’ compensation/ personal injury claims
- Represent clients before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury Commission
- Handle all aspects of claims, including:
- Initial intake and investigation
- Medical treatment coordination
- Settlement negotiations
- Hearings and mediations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with firm leadership through regular meetings and calls
- Maintain compliance with all CLE and bar requirements
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Workers’ Compensation experience or Personal Injury (South Carolina experience strongly preferred)
- Active South Carolina Bar license (required at time of hire)
- Proven ability to manage cases independently
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Interest in leadership and mentoring earlier in career attorneys
