BMW Courtesy Vehicle Representative

Pacific BMW is hiring a Concierge for the Courtesy Vehicle Department, responsible for assisting clients with obtaining a loaner car during service. This position reports to Inga Manukyan, Courtesy Vehicle Manager. The Service Department's hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6pm & Saturday from 8am-5pm. This is a full-time position paid hourly, starting at $18.

Qualifications:  

• Fluent in Armenian is preferred but not required
• Rental car experience 
• Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining safe driving protocols 
• Detail-oriented and attentive to customers' needs  
• Ability to easily engage in conversation and personalize customer interactions  
• Superior work ethic and dependability
• Minimum of 3 years with a US driver's license with no points on record
• High school diploma or equivalent  

Job Duties

• Proactively acknowledge and engage all guests visiting the Dealership following Pacific BMW’s standards 
• Open and close agreements with the time scope defined by management 
• Accurately check in vehicles on the service drive ensuring all lot damage is noted and charged appropriately 
• Research all vehicles that display idle days and ensure they are loaned out the same day 
• Assist with delivering vehicles to customers and parking loaner cars in designated lots
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all guests who have questions or issues with courtesy vehicles 
• Manage the greeter station when required, setting the tone with the first impression
• Contact guests regarding lost and found items found in courtesy vehicles, and follow up with items to be destroyed 
• Assist management with the loaner fleet flip by locating vehicles stored on the different lots; retire and add as needed 
• Perform hourly check-ins on the parking lot and daily to-do lists 
• Utilize computer programs specific to the department such as X-time, TSD, and Microsoft 365
• Create and process repair orders for courtesy vehicles in Service 

 Physical Requirements

• Surroundings: position requires standing for long periods of time in an air-conditioned office, and spending some time outdoors exposed to the weather and elements  
• Infrequently: sitting  
• Regularly: standing, walking, bending, twisting and/or stooping, kneeling and/or squatting, climbing stairs, lifting, reaching and/or lifting overhead, grabbing with hands, pushing and pulling heavy machinery
