Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Bonus
Our client, a mission-driven organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting and operations partnering cross-functionally on budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning. This is a high-impact, hybrid role offering visibility across the organization and the opportunity to drive meaningful operational improvements.
Work Location: Colorado Springs
Work Setting: Hybrid, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting functions, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with department leaders to manage budgets and analyze costs
- Provide financial insights to support data-driven decision-making
- Lead systems integration projects to improve accounting efficiency
- Strengthen internal controls through policy and process development
- Offer operational support to build scalable, cross-functional solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent experience strongly preferred)
- Proven experience in accounting and financial operations; nonprofit experience is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial data clearly
- Experience with systems integration and process improvement
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a mission-focused environment
