Financial Additions is working with a growing company looking for a Controller.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance function, including financial operations, internal controls, and process management, while collaborating with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead the monthly and year-end close processes, maintaining accuracy of financial reporting, safeguarding general ledger integrity, and delivering timely executive-level reporting packages.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and purchasing functions, implementing process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and optimize cash flow.
• Manage cash flow, financial planning, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts, identifying potential risks and growth opportunities to support business objectives.
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting requirements, oversee relationships with external partners, and mentor and develop a strong accounting and finance team.

Controller Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership of a full finance/accounting function in a mid-market environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, ConnectWise).
