What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Final Draft Brewing Company?
We are looking for a reliable line cook that enjoys cooking in a fast paced environment. We are a successful brewpub restaurant and our menu includes Steaks, Burgers, Salads, Sandwiches and a wide range of hand dipped fried appetizers.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, and/or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, procedures & knife skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Qualifications
- 1 Year experience of food preparation and meal preparation is required
- Background in food service and handling within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
