What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Technician position at Fiji Pools?
As a Pool Technician with FIJI POOLS, you will have a rewarding career with opportunities for growth and advancement. In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and service of pools on a specific route. You will meet at FIJI POOLS branch location to pick up the necessary supplies daily and use a company vehicle for work activities.
Pool Technicians work outdoors and will conduct daily scheduled pool service, and water maintenance using chemicals like bleach and acid following company procedures. In this role you will clean out pool filtration units, service pool circulation systems, conduct safety checks, drain covers, and ensure safety fences and yard fences are in good working order and all fences shut when leaving the yard.
Pool Technician Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Previous experience working in an outdoors environment, such as landscaping, construction, or pest control.
- At least 3 years as a licensed driver, with no major infractions or significant points
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required * Ability to lift and carry tools weighing at least 50 lbs, multiple times a day
- Military experience is a plus
- Maintain professional appearances of both uniforms and company vehicles. Pay can be up to $40,000 to $60,000 per year paid weekly.
