Job Summary
Exquisite Pool & Spa is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pool Service Technician to join our growing pool construction team. This position is responsible for servicing newly completed pools, performing start-ups, water balancing, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with pool maintenance and equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pool start-ups for newly completed construction projects
- Test and balance pool water chemistry according to industry standards
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and sanitization equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance visits and warranty service calls
- Diagnose and repair minor pool equipment issues
- Educate customers on pool operation, maintenance, and water chemistry
- Document service work, repairs, and maintenance performed
- Maintain inventory of chemicals, parts, and service equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous pool service, maintenance, or construction experience required
- Knowledge of pool water chemistry and balancing procedures
- Experience with pool pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and saltwater systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify maintenance needs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes and schedules
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- Experience with residential and commercial pool systems
- Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Pool construction or renovation experience
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
