Job Description 

The Pizza Maker is responsible for preparing, assembling, and cooking high-quality food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role closely aligns with Prep Cook responsibilities by supporting daily kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, and ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation. 

Duties include mixing and preparing dough, hand-stretching pizzas, and assembling menu items such as pizzas, garlic knots, and stromboli according to company recipes and standards. The Pizza Maker will operate kitchen equipment, monitor cooking times, and maintain a clean, organized workstation. 

This role requires strong teamwork and communication, as well as adherence to food safety, sanitation, and company policies. The Pizza Maker must be able to keep up with product demand while maintaining high-quality standards and efficiency. 

Job Qualifications & Requirements 

• Previous kitchen or Prep Cook experience preferred 

• Ability to mix dough and hand-stretch pizzas efficiently 

• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures 

• Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards 

• Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

• Reliable attendance and punctuality required 

• Strong teamwork and communication skills 

• Professional appearance and adherence to company dress standards 

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays 

Physical Demands 

• Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods (8 hours) 

• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs regularly 

• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions 

• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced, and sometimes noisy kitchen environment 

• Must maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations at all times
