As a customer service representative, you will be establishing customer relationships, providing insurance quotes, developing leads, scheduling appointments, fulfilling customer needs, and finding affordable rates.
This position offers a base hourly wage, plus commission:
Base compensation: $17 to $19 hourly, depending on experience
Supplementary pay: Commission starting after 3 months
Sick and Vacation time
This is a Full time position. Your flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts would be a big plus.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Follow the instructions and directions of the manager
· Provide Auto and home insurance quotes and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients in the office or via telephone.
· Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs
· Resolve client inquiries and complaints
· Comply with insurance standards and regulations
· Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
To be considered for this position, you must meet all the following requirements:
Minimum Requirements
- Bilingual, speaking, reading, and writing English and Spanish at a proficient level
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the Insurance Industry
- High school diploma or higher
- Proficient in using computer programs and MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to commute to the Escondido office on scheduled shifts
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
Preferred Qualifications
· Hold personal lines insurance license or be willing to acquire within 90 days of hire date.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
