What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Account Executive position at FieldFlō?
Account Executive
Sales • Hybrid (Denver / Front Range strongly preferred) • $80K–$90K base uncapped commission
Build the construction software the field actually wants to use, and earn like it.
FieldFlō is the construction software platform purpose-built for specialty subcontractors and field service teams. We replace clipboards with clarity. We turn paperwork into productivity. And we make safety, compliance, and operations something crews actually want to engage with, not dread.
We move fast. We listen hard. We ship tools that real jobsites depend on. And we’re scaling, which is exactly why we need you.
This isn’t a “fill the seat” AE role. You’re one of our earliest sales hires, and you’ll own deals end-to-end: prospect, demo, negotiate, close. You’ll talk to GCs, subs, ops leaders, and field crews. You’ll attend the tradeshows. You’ll write the playbook with us.
If you know the construction field service world, or you’ve sold into it and loved it, keep reading. This one is for you.
We’re proudly based in Colorado, and we’re building a tight, in-person sales culture along the Front Range. Denver-based candidates will get strong preference because we want you in the room: at whiteboards, at customer sites, at after-work happy hours where the best ideas tend to land.
Local to Denver? Tell us in your application. You’ll move to the top of the stack.
We’ll still consider strong candidates across the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions, but Denver / Front Range is our home turf and our hiring priority.
- Hunt. Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting: cold calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, events. You like the hunt.
- Discover. Run sharp discovery calls. Get under the hood of how field crews and back offices really operate.
- Demo. Deliver demos that connect FieldFlō capabilities to real jobsite and back-office wins, not feature dumps.
- Show up. Show up at tradeshows, conferences, and onsite meetings. Build relationships that compound.
- Close. Own the full sales cycle from first touch to signed agreement. No handoffs, no excuses.
- Operate. Run a clean pipeline in CRM. Accurate forecasts, clear next steps, no mystery deals.
- Build. Partner with leadership and Customer Success to sharpen messaging, pricing, and process as we grow.
- Sharpen. Stay sharp on the market: trends, competitors, and what construction teams are adopting next.
- 2 years working in or selling into the construction field services industry. You speak the language.
- 5 years of sales experience with a consultative, relationship-first approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can write the cold email AND run the boardroom.
- Motivated, goal-oriented, resilient. You like quotas. Outbound doesn’t scare you.
- Comfort working independently and tightly with a small team.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, or similar tools is a plus, but not required.
- SaaS experience is great, not required. We’ll teach you the product. You bring the hustle.
- Willingness to travel 10–25% for tradeshows, regional events, onsite demos, key customers, and team offsites.
- Pay that scales with effort. Competitive base of $80K–$90K with uncapped variable commission. Top performers should earn. Period.
- A team that has your back. Open, honest, supportive culture. We talk straight. We laugh a lot. We grow together.
- Real development. Strong onboarding plus continuous coaching. We invest in the rep, not just the quota.
- Trust over tracking. Trust-based, honor-system PTO. Take the time you need. Bring your A-game when you’re here.
- The stuff that matters. Computer, health insurance, cell-phone stipend. The essentials, handled.
- A seat at the table. Ground-floor influence at a company having an outsized impact on the construction industry.
This role is remote-friendly, but Denver / Front Range candidates are strongly preferred. We’ll consider qualified candidates across the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions.
At this time, we are unable to consider candidates who reside in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, or Washington.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future visa sponsorship.
