About FieldFlo

FieldFlo builds the software that keeps specialty subcontractors running. Our all-in-one platform is purpose-built for demolition, asbestos abatement, and environmental remediation contractors — the people doing some of the most complex, compliance-heavy work in construction. We handle everything from project management and scheduling to safety, certifications, time tracking, and job costing, so crews in the field and teams in the office are always working from the same page. Founded by subcontractors who lived the inefficiencies firsthand, we build what we wished had existed — and we're on a mission to make life easier for every specialty contractor we serve.

The Opportunity

As an Onboarding Specialist, you'll own the path to value for every new FieldFlo customer — driving each account from signed contract to measurable ROI in 30 to 60 days through hands-on implementation, training, and relationship-building across every level of their organization. If you thrive on turning complexity into confidence and want your work to directly shape customer retention and growth at a company scaling fast, this role was built for you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead structured kickoff calls to align on success criteria, implementation timelines, and each customer's specific business outcomes from day one.
  • Build and maintain a tailored onboarding project plan and success plan for every new account — with clear milestones, owner accountability, and a defined go-live target tied to customer goals.
  • Guide customers through full platform setup, configuration, and user provisioning — coordinating integrations with accounting and ERP platforms — ensuring the environment reflects how their crews and workflows actually operate.
  • Deliver role-appropriate training for all customer personas — field crew leads, project managers, office administrators, and executive stakeholders — connecting every workflow to the business outcome it drives.
  • Monitor product usage, user activity, and milestone completion throughout onboarding to proactively identify at-risk accounts and manage escalations before they become a churn risk.
  • Translate product features into measurable ROI — helping customers see and quantify the impact FieldFlo is making on their operations — and celebrate early wins that build momentum toward deeper adoption.
  • Own a clean, documented handoff for every customer transitioning to Account Management or Support, and proactively surface expansion signals to the Account Management team throughout the onboarding period.
  • Surface product gaps, bugs, and feature enhancement opportunities to Product and Engineering with clear customer context, and contribute onboarding insights to cross-functional planning discussions.

What You Bring (Required)

  • 3 years of experience in customer support, onboarding, or customer success with demonstrated ownership of the post-sale journey from kickoff through go-live.
  • Proven project management skills — you build plans, set milestones, track progress, and hold yourself and customers accountable to timelines across multiple concurrent implementations.
  • Strong communicator across all personas — you can translate the same concept for a field crew lead, an office manager, and a company owner, and you know which conversation you're in.
  • Experience connecting product functionality to business outcomes, translating features into ROI stories that resonate with operators who don't have time for jargon.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and technical complexity — you ask the right questions, dig until you find answers, and know when to pull in the right people to get issues resolved fast.
  • Proactive, data-informed approach to customer health — you identify risk signals early and act before problems become churn.
  • Familiarity with CRM and customer success tooling such as HubSpot or Intercom to maintain accurate records and track account health.

Nice to Have (Preferred)

  • Experience in or working alongside construction, demolition, asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, or specialty trades — you understand how these businesses operate in the field.
  • Familiarity with ERP and accounting integrations such as QuickBooks or Sage, whether as an end user or implementer.
  • Experience onboarding or training field-based, non-desk workforces — you know how to meet people where they are.
  • Exposure to customer health scoring or lifecycle stage models.
