FieldBridge Energy seeks two Solids Control Operators to work for the 2nd largest oilfield service company in the world out of their Canonsburg, PA yard. Rigs mostly located in West Virgnia and the Pittsburgh Tri-State area.
Possible to earn weekly paychecks of ~ $3,000 gross.
- Pay $22-$25/hr. DOE.
- 14/14 rotation. Count on at least 12.5 hrs per day. Start on Tuesday, end rotation on Monday. They are busy right now, so feel free to work your days off for more hours!
- Get paid weekly (payday is on Friday).

- $25 per diem housing mileage per diem.

The Solids Control Technician is responsible for managing and operating equipment designed to remove solids from drilling fluids during oil and gas drilling operations. They play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of drilling operations while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Solids Control Equipment: Run and maintain various solids control equipment such as shale shakers, centrifuges, desanders, and desilters to separate solids from drilling mud.
- Monitor Drilling Fluid Properties: Regularly test and monitor the properties of drilling fluids to ensure they meet required specifications for viscosity, density, and other parameters.
- Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Identify and troubleshoot problems with solids control equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Handle Drill Cuttings: Manage the collection, transportation, and disposal of drill cuttings and other solids in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Document and Report: Maintain accurate records of solids control operations, including equipment maintenance, fluid properties, and waste disposal activities. Report any issues or deviations from standard procedures to supervisors.
Requirements:
- 1-3 yrs of solids control exp.
- High school diploma or GED.
- PEC SafeLand, Excavator and H2S certifications.
