We are looking for a Seasonal Beverage Cart Attendant to join the Fiddler’s Family and share their passion for hospitality with our members, guests, and fellow staff members. Fiddler's Elbow hosts a wide range of events from comedy shows and concerts to Fourth of July celebrations and New Year’s Eve festivities, our annual FiddleFest Music and Food Festival, Member White-Out Party, golf outings and sporting events. We also host smaller clubs within the Club, such as our beloved Book Club and Cigar Club. Our members host many private events like weddings, social events, and celebrations of life milestones.
Essential Functions:
- Take beverage and food orders from Members and Guests
- Ability to drive a beverage (golf) cart
- Maintain a clean and well stocked cart with snacks and beverages
- Operate a grill station
- Cook hamburgers and hot dogs
- Observe appropriate sanitation and safety standards while handling food and beverages
- Ensure all products and supplies are returned to their proper location at the end of every shift
- Assist with set-up and break-down of stations
- Communicate with Grill Station Attendants to fill orders
- Maintain and exhibit proper golf course etiquette; observe and respect flow of game, and operate cart in a safe manner
- Keep track of Guest/Member orders for record purposes
- Provide outstanding customer service to Members and Guests
- Occasionally assist with food preparation on grill stations
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisors

Required Education/Experience:
- High School Graduate
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of our members/guests
- Must be able to operate a golf cart; have a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to utilize caution when operating golf cart
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to follow Tagmarshal and Golf Map for appropriate route
- Must be able to follow proper food and alcohol handling procedures
- TIPS Certified preferred
- Must be a team player and willing to work well with others
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, lift and carry at least 25 pounds
- Moderate physical effort required
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work indoor and outdoor environments
- Must be able to work occasional long hours, weekends and holidays
Safety Hazards:
- Operating a vehicle while outside during inclement, hot, varied weather
- Moderate and limited exposure to physical risk and flying golf balls
- General food and beverage environment with some exposure to heat from cooking areas, lifting of kegs, cases of beer, bottled water, Gatorades.
- Handling of sharp objects such as flatware
