Summary of Responsibilities:

The Greenskeeper plays a vital role in the overall functionality and maintenance of our 54 holes of championship golf. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Grounds & Agronomy team to maintain world-class playing surfaces, tees, bunkers, fairways, irrigation systems, and general grounds. You will operate and care for specialized course maintenance equipment to ensure the property is in pristine condition for our members.

Key Tasks & Duties:

•    Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using specialized power equipment; rake bunkers, edge paths, and maintain native areas.

•    Follow designs to lay sod, sow grass, or plant foliage; prune trees and shrubs; water plants and rake leaves.

•    Clean, service, and inspect machinery after each use; maintain fluid logs (gas/oil) and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.

•    Change cup locations and move tee markers daily; clear gutters, drains, and culverts.

•    Perform heavy manual labor, load/unload materials, and collect/empty litter cans across the club grounds.

•    Participate in daily pre-shift briefings and communicate effectively with the maintenance team to hit daily goals.

Requirements & Skills:

•    Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.

•    Ability to converse in and understand both English and Spanish is preferred.

•    2 years of related golf course experience is preferred; must have the ability to quickly learn the care and construction of club grounds.

•    High levels of dependability, cooperation, coordination, and multitasking.

•    A keen eye for small details to maintain high aesthetic standards.

•    Must have reliable transportation to the club in Bedminster, NJ.

Physical Requirements:

•    Ability to perform physically demanding work and stand for 8 hours per day.

•    Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and move approximately 50 pounds.

•    Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

•    Ability to safely operate hand tools (backpack blowers, weed eaters) and motorized equipment (mowers, pluggers, utility vehicles).

Working Conditions & Safety:

•    Regular exposure to outdoor elements (heat, rain, cold, humidity) and moving mechanical parts.

•    Shifts typically begin in the early morning (often before sunrise). Must be available for overtime, long weekends, and holidays during peak season.

•    Occasional work in high, precarious places and exposure to vibrations and noise levels ranging from moderate to loud (safety gear provided).

Salary : $18
