What You’ll Do
- Architect, deploy, and manage large-scale network infrastructures aligned with company standards and future-focused initiatives.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot core routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Implement and support expansive Layer 3 and MPLS environments.
- Apply your understanding of fiber-optic service delivery and backbone connectivity to ensure network resiliency.
- Perform routine and advanced network maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and security hardening.
- Conduct modeling, analysis, and forecasting to maintain a high-performance, reliable network ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Monitor and enhance network performance through proactive analysis and optimization.
- Champion network security and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation for designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
What You Bring
- 10 years of hands-on experience working with large-scale network environments.
- Deep expertise with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Proven experience with Layer 2, Layer 3, and MPLS network architectures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience working with major network platforms such as Juniper and Cisco.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., JNCIS, JNCIP) are highly preferred.
- A solid understanding of network security technologies and practices.
