Essential Responsibilities
- Customer Requirements
- Review all customer specifications and project standards as relate to execution of FHG’s scope.
- Provide summary documents to project team on all requirements outside of FHG standard practice.
- Train superintendent, foreman, and key technical leads on these standards and review FHG standard practices
- Be a drawing package revision and specification expert, make sure what we are building is within spec and the most current drawing is what we are working with.
- Material tracking (receipt, inventory and disbursement)
- Material Receiving and Incoming Inspection
- Maintenance of MTR’s and associated documentation. May include communication with vendor
- Disbursement of materials to field personnel
- Maintain project material log
- Reconciliation of packing lists with site drawings
- Overall materials management- receipt, storage, usage, documentation
- Making sure the correct grade of materials is used per engineering drawings/ specifications.
- Weld tracking
- Maintain weld log
- Gather inspection and survey data from 3rd parties
- Support weld mapping efforts/ develop weld maps
- Knowledge of software for as built design/revisions (Bluebeam)
- Support the development of weld maps and as-builts
- Project redlines as required.
- Concrete and foundation inspection documentation (Concrete testing by third party)
- Coating inspection documentation
- Torque record documentation
- Development and final review of hydrotest packets.
- Audit and assist with maintaining equipment certifications.
- Audit FHG and FHG subcontractor for quality issues. All unresolved issues to be handled through FHG Operations Manager.
- Meet with client QA/QC team to serve as their primary point of contact
- Detailed understanding of FHG typical standards and policies.
- Third party testing/ testing packages/ turnover documentation
- Assembly and compilation of all third -party testing for turnover documentation.
- Scheduling and management of third-party testing*
- *This may be management of subcontractors if third-party was included in their contract- subs would then provide all the information to satisfy clients’ testing requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a construction related field leading QA/QC efforts on large scale projects with revenue of $10 million or higher.
- Maintain electronic project files
- Ability to work with local files and cloud storage
- Moderate/Intermediate Excel skills
- Proficiency in reading plan and P&ID drawings
- Blue Beam (or other pdf editing software) experience
- Navisworks experience
- CAD experience is not required but a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a good multi-tasker.
