- EdgewaterTechnical Associates**is seeking qualified candidates for a**Project QA/QCLead** opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Responsibilities
- Prepare plans to include schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements to solve technical and quality engineering tasks identified by management.
- Develop schedules, monitor progress, monitor budget expenditures, and review the quality of work completed to ensure that technical and quality requirements are met.
- Support facility/project needs within the assigned area by conducting procurement, procedure, and work package review.
- Communicate objectives and results to customers, colleagues, and management.
- Prepare reports, professional papers, and articles for internal publication; occasionally prepare reports for external publication.
- Communicate with DOE Sr. personnel regarding the QA/QC Program and corrective action status.
- Enhance expertise in the field through leadership in local technical societies.
- Experience in quality control/assurance execution in nuclear (DOE preferred) or other industry executing line-item construction projects.
- Working knowledge of SRNS and/or SRPPF processes and procedures.
- Ability to perform weekly field walk-downs of the job site for engineering work being performed (these walk-downs may involve construction sites with uneven surfaces and work in-progress, walking for distances over a half mile, and climbing ladders to access remote areas).
- Ability to monitor and validate quality of work package/construction reviews for the SRPPF Project.
- Experience in the development, review, issuance, and execution of work control packages.
- Experience in reviewing various discipline Engineering deliverables for conformance to specified design input requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interfaces with both internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor of Science degree with ten (10) years of quality control/quality assurance experience **OR** a High School diploma (or GED) with twenty (20 years) quality control/quality assurance experience.
- Possessed an active DOE (L or Q) security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q securityclearance.
